Tickets Now On Sale For THE RED VELVET CAKE WAR

Tickets are now on sale for "The Red Velvet Cake War", written by the comedy trio of Jessi Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten and presented by the Hill Country Community Theatre. Reservations can be made by calling (830) 798-8944, online at www.theHCCT.org, or at the box office.

Taking place in the hot Texas town of Sweetgum, the three Verdeen cousins - Gaynelle, Peaches, and Jimmie Wyvette - could not have picked a worse time to host their family reunion. A high stakes bet occurs between Gaynelle and her aunt, LaMerle, over who can bake the best red velvet cake.

Love connections, felonies, divorces, and fisticuffs will keep you cracking up in this rollicking comedy, packed with one liners, that celebrates tenacious women, the bonds of family, and the show's namesake red confection adored in the South.

"The Red Velvet Cake War" will be presented by the Hill Country Community Theatre, 4003 W FM 2147, Cottonwood Shores, TX 78657. The show will open on April 26 and run for three weeks through May 13. Performances will be on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sunday matinees at 2:15 PM. Admission is $20 for adults and $10 students with a valid ID.
