Theater Resources Unlimited Hosts 2015 Combined Audition Event This Weekend

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) presents 2015 Combined Audition Event today, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th at The WorkShop Theater, 312 West 36th Street, 4th Floor East. Singing Auditions will be on Saturday from 10:30am to 6pm (you will be required to perform a monologue, too). Non-singing auditions will be on Saturday from 10:00am to 11am and on Sunday from 10am to 5pm.

The event is presented with support from Working Actors Studio, Actors Access, Actors Connection, Castingabout.com, BackStageOver and the WorkShop Theatre. Over 40 producers, theater companies, writers and directors will be sitting in on two days of auditions. Sign up to be seen by them, and by at least two top New York agents and/or casting directors! Already on board: agent Albert Bramante of Emerging Talent Agency, casting directors Robin Carus, Jamibeth Margolis and Helene Galek, and manager Lorna Rainey and Bobby Holder of Talent Express.

TRU AUDITION EVENT PRICING: Early bird registration fee: $50 ($10 discount and priority slots are given to members of Theater Resources Unlimited and AEA, making your fee $40. Non-members are welcome to join and qualify for Priority Registration - click here). Standard registration (3/14-4/13): $75 *($10 discount and priority slots for TRU and AEA, making your fee $65). Everyone who applies will be entered in a raffle. Past prizes included seminars at Actors Connection, The Network and Weist-Barron Studios, 6-month memberships in sponsor Actors Access' Showfax, subscriptions to BackStage and more! Also join TRU executive director Bob Ost and event producers Jody Lyn Flynn and Molly Morris at Meet the Coaches, produced by vocal coach Natalie Wilson on Saturday, March 28th from 2pm to 5pm, at the John DeSotelle Studios, 300 W. 43rd Street, 3rd floor. This is a pre-event opportunity to meet 11 terrific monologue and music coaches and party with the TRU production team at a catered reception.
