The McKittrick Hotel (530 West 27th Street, NYC), home of Sleep No More, announces the return of its popular rooftop hideaway Gallow Green. The lush green space reopens with the annual Herb Festival on Saturday, April 20.

The McKittrick's perennial rooftop bar Gallow Green undergoes a dramatic transformation each year, from a cozy mountainside escape known as The Lodge at Gallow Green in the colder months, to a whimsical secret garden for the spring and summer.

The space is inspired by its downstairs neighbor, Sleep No More, the richly detailed 360-degree experiential retelling of Macbeth. Is outfitted as a Scottish train station overgrown with flowers, herbs and hanging vines, with both open-air space and protection from the elements to accommodate guests rain or shine.

Visitors to Gallow Green enjoy an all-new seasonal selection of potent handcrafted cocktails, share plates, fresh pizzas and weekend brunch expertly prepared by the hotel's Executive Chef, Pascal Le Seac'h.

Seasonal cocktail highlights:

-The house Sleep No More, made with pea flower-infused vodka, elderflower and rosé cider, and Gallow Green are signature namesakes inspired by the hotel and its residents.

-Frozen drinks, wine by the glass and bottle, seasonal draft beers from local breweries and bottled ciders are also available.

Dinner menu highlights:

-Burgers made with a special blend of steak cuts and an assortment of Pizzas from the rooftop's wood burning oven are summer classics. A plentiful Cheese Plate or assortment of Charcuterie are perfect to share with the table.

Brunch menu highlights:

-Brunch features a mouth-watering buffet with fresh pastries, fruits and salads, carving stations and made-to-order omelets, as well as live music by MK Groove.

-Coffee or tea and Bloody Mary, Mimosa and Aperol Spritz brunch cocktails are also offered to enhance the meal.

Gallow Green is a perfect respite on its own, or before or after attending a performance at the hotel, which is located in West Chelsea near Hudson Yards, The High Line, Hell's Kitchen and the Meatpacking District.

To wind down the weekend, Gallow Green features live music from a variety of genres for Sunset Sundays series each week at sundown. In addition, families are invited to take part in the Children's Potions & Planting Tea Party one Saturday per month from June through August.

The McKittrick Hotel is open seven days a week offering a plethora of entertainment options for tourists and locals alike. From the award-winning immersive spectacle Sleep No More and after-hours jazz speakeasy Manderley Bar, to premier entertainment destination The Club Car, there are endless reasons to visit.

Gallow Green will be open for dinner and drinks daily from 5pm (4pm on Saturdays), as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-3pm. Visit www.mckittrickhotel.com/gallow-green for menus and hours.

Reservations are recommended for meals and large groups. Gallow Green is also a unique location for celebrations and private gatherings from spring through fall.
