THE DUST BOWL RADIO HOUR Will Be Performed at Hill Country
THE DUST BOWL RADIO HOUR brings its live concert experience to the Hill Country NYC stage
The Dust Bowl Radio Hour, a new folk and bluegrass musical by Sean McGee and Kasey Dillon Yeargain, will be presented in concert on Monday, May 18, 2026 at Hill Country Live Music Venue in New York City.
The concert is produced with production support from Chorus Girl Productions and music directed by Chris Coffey. The evening will feature select songs from the recently released concept album, along with additional music performed live. Set in 1930s Oklahoma, The Dust Bowl Radio Hour follows a young boy whose mother disappears during the dust storms. When he is brought to a struggling radio station to send a message across the plains, his broadcasts become imaginative stories that bring hope to a community searching for something to hold onto.
The concert will feature JJ Niemann (Back to the Future, Hamilton), Morgan Anita Wood (Hamilton), Sean McGee (Jersey Boys), Lucy Rhoades (Mean Girls), Brooke Shapiro (Punk Rock Girl), Jeremy Abram, Kasey Dillon Yeargain, and Riley Thompson.
Additional concert cast includes Grace Bacino, Kabir Gandhi, Owen Ing, Noah Marcus, Chris Persichetti, Natalie Shaw, Jocelyn Darci Trimmer, and Amy Weaver.
The original concept album of The Dust Bowl Radio Hour was released in April and features performances by Kennedy Caughell, JJ Niemann, Sean McGee, Lucy Rhoades, Brooke Shapiro, Jeremy Abram, Christopher James Tamayo, Kasey Dillon Yeargain, and Riley Thompson.
