Stuff Happens Extends Again, Now Through June 25th

The Public Theater's Artistic Director Oskar Eustis and Executive Director Mara Manus announce that the New York premiere of David Hare's critically acclaimed play STUFF HAPPENS will be extended for the second time, adding a total of eight weeks to the original run. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, STUFF HAPPENS began previews on March 28th and was extended for four weeks after selling out in its first week of previews. With the second extension, the show will run through Sunday, June 25th.

Cast changes beginning May 16th will include the following:

· Tony Carlin will replace Armand Schultz (Jonathan Powell, Robin Cook, Ensemble);
· Reed Birney will replace Byron Jennings (Tony Blair);
· Sandra Shipley will replace Brenda Wehle (New Labour Politician, Laura Bush, Ensemble);
· Larry Pine will replace Jeffrey DeMunn (Donald Rumsfeld).

STUFF HAPPENS will play Tuesday and Sunday at 7:00pm; Wednesday through Saturday at 8:00pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm. Tickets for STUFF HAPPENS are $50 through April 30th. From May 1st through June 25th, tickets are $60 for performances Sunday through Thursday, and $70 for performances on Friday and Saturday. Box office hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00pm to 7:30pm, and Sunday and Monday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.
