An intimate new version of The Mystery of Edwin Drood will be presented to industry insiders on Wednesday, October 16th featuring Sally Struthers ("All in the Family," "Gilmore Girls"), Brian D'Arcy James upcoming (The Apple Tree, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Sweet Smell of Success), and Leah Hocking (Hairspray, Mamma Mia!) as Drood.

Directed by DJ Salisbury, the all-star industry event will be presented with a newly revised, condensed script and chamber cast of 10 actors.

Cast will also feature Broadway veterans Eric Michael Gillett, Joel Blum, Natalie Toro, Ed Staudenmayer, Warren Kelly, Jessica Wright and newcomer Carolann Sanita as Rosa Bud.

A singer/songwriter and poet, Rupert Holmes has performed and written for many music legends, and gained fame on his own with a series of successful pop singles during the 1970s and '80s. Although a respected playwright and book writer, his contributions to the rock music industry and Broadway have been numerous.  Holmes most recently penned the book to the Broadway-bound Kander and Ebb musical Curtains.

His 1986 Broadway musical, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, was the recipient of five Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book and Best Score.
