As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Broadway's first a cappella musical In Transit will star David Abeles (Once), 2016 "America's Got Talent" contestant Moya Angela (Ghost The Musical), 2012 American Beatbox Vice Champion Steven "HeaveN" Cantor (Broadway Debut), Justin Guarini (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown; "American Idol"), Telly Leung (Allegiance), Erin Mackey (Amazing Grace), Gerianne Perez (Broadway Debut), Margo Seibert (Rocky), Chesney Snow (Broadway Debut), James Snyder (If/Then), Mariand Torres (Broadway Debut), Nicholas Ward (On the Town), Adam Bashian (Broadway Debut), Laurel Harris (Wicked) and AureLia Williams (Broadway Debut).

The ensemble cast is made up of plenty of Broadway veterans, but some new faces as well. Get to know the full gang with some of their past performances below!

Moya Angela (Momma, Mrs. Williams, Booth Lady) is an international Broadway singer and actress. She got her Broadway start In The Lion King. Other shows include Effie in Dreamgirls National Broadway Tour and the Apollo as well as Ghost the Musical on Broadway. TV credits include Portia in "30 Rock."


STEVEN "HEAVEN" CANTOR (Boxman), known as Heaven Beatbox, grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia. This visionary artist began beatboxing, creating and mimicking sounds at the age of fourteen. A vocal creative artist, he uses his vocal abilities in commercial entertainment as a voice-over talent and actor, and regularly performs live at music festivals, clubs and corporate events worldwide.

Telly Leung (Steven). Broadway credits include Sam Kimura in Allegiance, Godspell, Rent, Pacific Overtures, & Flower Drum Song. TV audiences will remember Telly as "Wes, the Warbler" on Glee. He's heard on many Broadway cast recordings and two solo albums - I'll Cover You (2012) and Songs for You (2016).


Erin Mackey (Ali). Broadway: Amazing Grace, Chaplin, Anything Goes, Sondheim on Sondheim and Wicked. Regional/Off-Broadway: Sweeney Todd (with the NY Philharmonic at Lincoln Center), Lady Be Good (Encores!), South Pacific (Paper Mill and Guthrie), The Light in the Piazza (South Coast Repertory). Film/TV: The Intern, The Parent Trap, Blue Bloods.


Gerianne Perez (Kathy). Broadway Debut! Past credits include: Vanessa in In the Heights (Hangar Theatre), Rizzo in Grease (North Shore Music Theatre) and Vocalosity (First National). Margo Seibert (Jane). Broadway: Rocky (Drama League Award nomination). Off-Broadway: Tamar and the River (2014 Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Musical), Undeniable Sound of Right Now. Regional (select credits): Ever After, Last Five Years, Candide. TV: "Elementary," "Boardwalk Empire."


Chesney Snow (Boxman Alternate). Drama Desk award-winning Brooklyn based performer and one of NYC's premiere beatbox/vocal percussionists and pioneering figure in American beatbox culture. Off- Broadway: In Transit (Primary Stages), Burn This, Back From the Front (dir. Giovanna Sardelli) National tour: Vocalosity. Exec. Producer American Beatboxer (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Time Warner).


James Snyder (Nate) was recently seen opposite Idina Menzel in Broadway's If/Then. He received a Drama League Award Nomination for the titular role in Cry-Baby and recently played Jonathon/Miranda in Casa Valentina at Pasadena Playhouse. Additional theatre credits include Carousel at Goodspeed Opera House, Fanny at New York City Center, and Broadway: Three Generations at The Kennedy Center.


Mariand Torres (Nina). Selected Credits: Prince of Broadway (dir Harold Prince, Susan Stroman), Wicked (Elphaba Standby). Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, School of Rock (Gramercy Theatre), Evita (KC Rep), Spamalot (Connecticut Repertory Theatre), Giant (Signature Theatre), Murder Ballad (Actors' Playhouse).
