Stage and screen casting titan Bernie Telsey chats with MTV about American Idol favorite Adam Lambert's Broadway past, present...and future!

Adam Lambert's jump from musical theater performances to the main stage of Fox's 'IDOL' broadcasts doesn't mean the vocal thriller won't be welcomed back with open arms says casting icon Bernie Telsey, as a matter of fact, Telsey reveals that Lambert was on the short list of potential leads for Broadway's upcoming Spider-Man musical "Turn Off the Dark," which will be directed by Julie Taymor and feature music by U2's Bono and The Edge.

Telsey is no stranger to Lambert's talents as he cast the young singer in the Los Angeles production of the mega hit musical WICKED. Watch the full MTV video right here on BWW TV's STAGE TUBE!

In addition to performing in WICKEDAdam Lambert also had a role in The Ten Commandments and appeared in The Zodiac Show.
