What is Raw Impressions Music Theatre?
8 composers and 8 writers are randomly paired on a Friday evening.
They are given guidelines to create a 10-minute new music theatre piece.
They write it in under 48 hours. 3 days for rewrites. 4 days for rehearsal.
And then YOU get to see it.
Raw Impressions has been called "The Best of the Best" (Backstage), "A jewel of New York music theatre" (NY Press), and was the recipient of the Jonathan Larson Award for Artistic Vision and Commitment to Developing New Music Theatre.
