Jordan Tweeted: "Day one of the last five years!" followed by: "I almost killed us both in this car... RT @AnnaKendrick47: Cathy and Jamie 4ever #LastFiveYears #DayOne" Kendrick also shared the photo on Twitter with the caption: "Cathy and Jamie 4ever #LastFiveYears #DayOne" THE LAST FIVE YEARS' creator Jason Robert Brown also joined the conversation, saying, "I just watched @JeremyMJordan drive 20 feet on a bicycle four times. My work is done here". Richard LaGravanese's upcoming film adaptation of Jason Robert Brown's, THE LAST FIVE YEARS explores a five-year relationship between Jamie Wellerstein, a rising novelist, and Cathy Hyatt, a struggling actress. The story uses a form of storytelling in which Cathy's story is told in reverse chronological order (beginning the show at the end of the marriage), and Jamie's is told in chronological order (starting just after the couple have first met). The characters do not directly interact except for a wedding song in the middle as their timelines intersect.
