Photo Flash: First Look at Joyce DeWitt, Ryan Overberg and More in NSMT's ALL SHOOK UP
A new musical comedy featuring the unforgettable hits of Elvis Presley, ALL SHOOK UP is loosely based on William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night”, and tells the story of a guitar playing roustabout, Chad, who rides into a struggling square Midwest town and changes it forever with the power of love and rock-and-roll. This whacky ‘50s styled musical is written by Tony Award-Winner, Joe DiPietro (writer of Memphis, Nice Work if You Can Get It, and I Love You You’re Perfect, Now Change). Featuring the classic hit songs “Heartbreak Hotel”, “Burning Love”, “Jailhouse Rock”, “Blue Suede Shoes”, “It’s Now or Never”, “Don’t Be Cruel” and “Fools Rush In,” ALL SHOOK UP is clever, fresh fun for all ages.
ALL SHOOK UP stars Joyce Dewitt as Mayor Matilda Hyde. Miss DeWitt is most widely known to audiences for her starring role as Janet Wood on the ABC Television hit series “Three's Company.” The cast of ALL SHOOK UP also features Dara Hartman (Natalie/Ed), Ryan Overberg (Chad), Eric Hatch (Dean), John Hillner (Jim Haller), Jannie Jones (Sylvia), Paul Sabala (Dennis), Coleen Sexton, LaQuet Sharnell (Lorraine), and J.T. Turner (Sheriff Earl, Warden)
