On May 31st, "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change's" Jodie Langel sang the National Anthem at Shea Stadium when the NY Mets took on the Arizona Diamondbacks (The Mets won in the 13th inning)

Langel premiered on Broadway as the role of Cosette in Les Miserables while still attending NYU's Tish School of the Arts, and later went on to play the role of Eponine. Her Broadway tour credits include the role of Bertrande in the Pre-Broadway tour of Martin Guerre (including runs at the Guthrie, Ahmanson, and Kennedy Center) the Narrator in the National Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Grizabella in the National Tour of CATS, where she was the youngest person to ever portray the role. Jodie is also the head of Musical Theater at the Seth Rigg's Vocal Camp in Los Angeles. She holds an MFA in Acting from UCLA and has taught all over the country including Acting at UCLA.

Ms. Langel is also co-author of the book "
MAKING IT ON BROADWAY: ACTORS' TALES OF CLIMBING TO THE TOP," with a forward by Jason Alexander. The book is a candid, behind the scenes, and sometimes shocking look at Broadway's stars and is comprised of her interviews with such notables as Jason Alexander, Brooke Shields, Chita Rivera, Deborah Gibson, Ann Miller, Antonio Banderas, Donna Murphy, and Idina Menzel.
