Just yesterday, Christina DeCicco joined the cast of Broadway's high-flying spectacular, Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark in the role of "Arachne." Katrina Lenk played her final performance on Sunday, April 21. BroadwayWorld was there for her first official curtain call and you can check out photo coverage below!
Christina DeCicco was last seen on Broadway starring as Eva Peron twice a week in the Broadway revival of Evita. Previously Christina appeared in the original Broadway cast of Sister Act and toured the U.S. as Glinda in Wicked.
SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark features music and lyrics by 22-time Grammy Award-winners Bono and The Edge and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, with direction by Ms. Taymor and additional direction by Philip William McKinley. Scenic Designer George Tsypin and Costume Designer Eiko Ishioka are winners of Outer Critics Circle Awards and were nominated for Tony Awards for their work on Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark.Tickets for Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark are priced from $49 - $147.50, and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or by calling (877) 250-2929. A select number of premium tickets are available for purchase. Tickets are also available at the Foxwoods Theatre box office (213 West 42nd Street), which is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark now plays the following performance schedule: Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 p.m., and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Schedule varies, check spidermanonbroadway.com for details.
