Nick Adams on PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT's Superstar Cast

Nick Adams recently chatted with Broadway Beat at PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT's press day. In the interview, Adams talked about what it's like working with his fabulous castmates, Will Swenson and Tony Sheldon. 

Adams revealed, "Tony Sheldon and Will Swenson are superstars. They are the most gracious, encouraging men, and two of my closest friends. The dynamic that we have is true to life, I mean we really do love eachother like family. They took me under their wing day-one of rehearsal and have created these wonderful relationships together."

"I can't imagine doing it with anybody else. They are so beautiful in their roles. I learn so much from watching them and working with them every day. I feel like it's the perfect team. They're terrific."

On his role, Adams said, "I play Adam/Felicia. Felicia is when Adam is in his drag persona. I'm best friends with Will Swenson's character 'Tick' and Tony Sheldon's character 'Bernadette,' and the three of us take this journey across Australia in the desert in my bus that I christened 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert.'"

As for the themes of the show, he added "It's beautiful. It's about friendship, acceptance, love, tolerance. There are beautiful messages in the show that I think are important, especially right now."
