NIGHT OF A THOUSAND GOSSIP GIRLS to Return to UCB New York Mainstage
Dante Giannetta, Irina Chelidze, and new cast members join creators Megan Downey and Clay Taylor.
Comedy writing-and-producing duo Megan Downey and Clay Taylor's sketch show, Night of a Thousand Gossip Girls, is returning to the UCB New York mainstage on Wednesday, May 6 at 8:30pm. This follows the show's sold-out performance on January 21 of this year.
NIGHT OF A THOUSAND GOSSIP GIRLS is a live show featuring sketches related to Gossip Girl, gossip, and girls. The show features a series of sketches with send ups of Gossip Girl's classic narration as interstitials between each one. It's aimed at GG fans and novices alike, with a mix of sketches parodying early-2000s teen drama tropes and exploring life's big questions, like "Do pigeons gossip?"
The May 6 performance will feature four members of the original cast, Dante Giannetta, Irina Chelidze, Downey, and Taylor. They'll be joined by Will Tempfer, Amy Jans, Carmen Mendoza, and Kevin Mulharin.
Tickets to see the show live at UCB are $15, with an online livestream available to watch up to a week after the performance for $10.
