Libby Dodson's Live At Lynn Theatre Series To Present Five Musical Hits In 2019 Lynn University and Jan McArt, producer and director of theatre arts program development, today promoted the five musical shows that will be presented in 2019 through Libby Dodson's Live at Lynn Theatre Series.

Jan. 5-6

Abbacadabra: The Ultimate ABBA Tribute

  • Saturday: 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: 4 p.m.

Fans of Mama Mia will dance in the aisles to their favorite ABBA hits performed with such detail that those in the audience will swear the original band must have reunited. Dust off the leisure suits and platform shoes and be transported back to the '70s.

Jan. 19-20

Cirquesco

  • Saturday: 7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: 4 p.m.

The magical artistry of Cirque. The flirtatious camp of Burlesque. An elaborate exploration of sensational choreography and incredible acrobatics set to an electrifying soundtrack, Cirquesco combines international dance and European circus for an unforgettable night that tests the limits of the human body.

Feb. 16-17

Divas3

A celebration of the greatest divas in history, this show is an enticing mix of pure class, personality and goose-bump-inducing powerhouse vocals that brings down the house with iconic hits from divas such as Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Cher, Donna Summer and more.

March 9-10

William Close and the Earth Harp Collective

Combining the creative forces of artists, musicians, composers and choreographers with the stunning centerpiece-the earth harp-this multidimensional concert resonates with symphonic beauty, meshing modern music with newly invented instrumentation.

Christine Andreas: Piaf-No Regrets

A voice for the ages is revived as Andreas delivers a celebration of Edith Piaf, brought to live in the words of her friends, her triumphs and her music-performed in French and English.

The Live at Lynn Opening Night Cabaret Receptions

starring legendary singer/pianist Michael Laird
