From Last Call Theatricals, LLC, the production company helmed by Broadway vets Michael Balderrama, Richard H. Blake, and Sean Frank Sullivan, comes an AEA Staged Reading of the new American rock musical, Whiskeyland! There will be two, invite only, industry presentations On November 17th and 18th at The Ford Foundation Studio Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 W. 42nd St.)

Created by Motown the Musical's Nik Walker, Whiskeyland! tells the tale of a broken young Boston boy and a disillusioned angel who trigger a countdown to the end of the world, the final day of which they spend battling their town, themselves and each other for vengeance and hopefully, acceptance. Driven by a score born of Irish punk, folk, gospel and soul, composed by Liam Nelligan and Walker, Whiskeyland! explores the journey to find the strength, love and forgiveness one needs to confront their own mortality.

The November presentations - directed by Joe Ricci, with musical direction by Mark Fifer and musical supervision by Marcus Paul James - will feature a line up of some of Broadway's hottest talents, including Eric Anderson (Soul Doctor, The Last Ship), Christine Dwyer (Wicked), Sabrina Sloan (Motown, Catch Me If You Can), and many, many more!
