Eve Recalls Meeting Gwen Stefani Before Their 'Blow Ya Mind' Collaboration
The rapper looked back on the origins of a musical partnership that became one of her signature hits.
Eve sat down on THE Jennifer Hudson SHOW to revisit the story of how she first met Gwen Stefani, a connection that eventually led to their collaboration on "Blow Ya Mind." The conversation with host Jennifer Hudson centered on that initial meeting and how the pairing came together, giving the studio audience a firsthand account of one of Eve's most recognizable musical partnerships.
The segment kept its focus on Eve's own recollection of the encounter rather than a broader rundown of her career, letting her walk through the specifics of how the relationship with Stefani took shape ahead of the collaboration.
Much of the appearance stayed on that single thread, with Eve detailing the moment the two connected and what followed as the song came together, offering fans a closer look at the backstory behind a track tied closely to her discography.
Eve's stop on the show follows a separate appearance in which Hudson surprised Eve's son with a gift, part of a run of personal, story-driven segments the daytime program has featured recently. Eve Surprises Her Son With A Gift From Jennifer Hudson On Talk Show
