Emerging Artists Theatre has announced its fall 2006 EATFest, the company's semi-
annual showcase of new works by emerging playwrights. EATFest will play a three-week limited engagement at Off-Broadway's Theatre 5 (311 West 43rd St. 5th Floor—btw.Eighth and Ninth Avenues). Performances begin Tuesday, October 31st, and continue through Sunday, November 19th.

The schedule is as follows:
 
Series A
Tuesday and Friday at 7 pm, Saturday at 5 pm
Room at the Inn by Barbara Lindsay, directed by Roberto Cambeiro. "Like a virgin?"
Recoil by Karen Schiff, directed by Jonathan Warman. "A chance encounter on a mattress leaves a firm memory."
Five Minutes by Allan Baker, directed by Kevin Brofsky. "Sometimes five minutes can last a lifetime."
Must the Show Go On by Carl L. Williams, directed by Deb Guston. "Having a drunk in the tech booth can be a real problem."
 
Series B
Wednesday and Saturday at 7 pm, Sunday at 3 pm
Customer Disservice by Gregg Pasternack, directed by Kelly Haydon. "Sometimes asking for help can be more of a headache."
Triple Play by Marc Castle, directed by Cater Inskeep. "A trio decides who's on first?"
Help Thyself by Greg Kalleres, directed by Derek Jamison. "Therapy has never been quite like this."
Neverland by Kim Kelly, directed by Rebecca Nyahay. "If you think about it, sometimes Lost Boys can find their way home."
Can't You See We're Acting by Carl L. Williams, directed by Glenn Schudel. "Audience participation doesn't mean crinkling your candies."

Series C
Thursday at 7 pm; Friday at 9 pm and Sunday at 5 pm
Forgetting to Remember by Greg Kalleres, directed by Ian Streicher. "A man awakens to a strange woman in his bed."
Sick by Bekah Brunstetter, directed by Tzipora Kaplan. "How many of your lovers show up in your blood?"
Our Lady of the Sea by Aoise Stratford, directed by TRoy Miller. "Three different men's views of a young girl's disappearance."
Fit For Love by Rich Orloff, directed by Chris Maring. "Stuck on a bad date."

EATFest plays the following regular schedule through Sunday, November 19th.
 
            Tuesdays at 7 pm – Series A
            Wednesdays at 7 pm – Series B
            Thursdays at 7 pm – Series C
            Fridays at 7 pm – Series A
            Fridays at 8 pm – Series C
            Saturday at 5 pm – Series A
            Saturday at 7 pm – Series B
            Sunday at 3 pm – Series B
            Sunday at 5 pm – Series C
 
Tickets are $18 and are now available online at www.eatheatre.org or by calling 212-247-2429. Tickets may also be purchased in person on the day of the performance at Theatre 5, 311 West 43rd Street, 5th Floor.
