Producers Jeffrey Richards, Stacey Mindich, and Jerry Frankel announced that Derek Klena (Wicked) and Caitlin Kinnunen (Spring Awakening) will join the cast of The Bridges of Madison County, the new musical based on the best selling novel by Robert James Waller. The pair will play Michael and Carolyn Johnson, the children of Francesca (Kelli O'Hara) and Bud Johnson (Hunter Foster).

Klena will return to Broadway after his recent appearance as Fiyero in Wicked. Kinnunen, will reprise the role of Carolyn, which she originated at Williamstown Theatre Festival this past summer. The pair join the previously announced Kelli O'Hara, Steven Pasquale, Hunter Foster, Cass Morgan, and Michael X. Martin.

The Bridges of Madison County will begin rehearsals on Monday, December 9, 2013, with the first preview on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). The opening night is set for Thursday, February 20, 2014.

Tickets can be purchased at the box office of the Gerald Schoenfeld theatre, by visiting Telecharge.com or by calling (212) 239-6200.

Four-time Tony® nominee Kelli O'Hara reunites with Bartlett Sher, the Tony- winning director of South Pacific and The Light in the Piazza, for a stunning new musical by the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning team of Marsha Norman and Jason Robert Brown. O'Hara is joined onstage by Steven Pasquale ("Rescue Me", reasons to be pretty).

The Bridges of Madison County, based on the best selling novel by Robert James Waller, comes to Broadway after an acclaimed run at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
