Daveed Diggs, Leslie Odom Jr. & More Nominated for 2021 SAG Awards

Former "Hamilton" co-stars Leslie Odom Jr. and Daveed Diggs have been honored with Screen Actors Guild Award nominations this morning!

Diggs was nominated for his role in "Hamilton," which was filmed live with the original leading cast and screens on Disney Plus. The actor, singer, rapper, and writer originated the roles of Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson in Lin-Manuel Miranda's smash hit musical.

Odom was nominated for playing the legendary singer Sam Cooke in Regina King's "One Night in Miami," which was also nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Viola Davis and the late Chadwick Boseman were also honored with nominations for their roles in the film adaptation of August Wilson's "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom"; the whole ensemble cast was also nominated in the aforementioned cast category.

Additional nominees include Olivia Colman (The Father), Gillian Anderson (The Crown), Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us), and Cate Blanchett (Mrs. America).
