Composers Concordance to Present CHICAGO CADENCE at The CheckOut
Works by Natasha Bogojević, Seth Boustead, Gene Pritsker, and Astor Piazzolla will be featured in the contemporary music program.
Composers Concordance will present CHICAGO CADENCE on Wednesday, June 24 at The CheckOut in Chicago.
The concert will bring together composers and performers from New York and Chicago for an evening of contemporary music blending classical, jazz, experimental, and improvisational styles. The performance will take place at The CheckOut in the city’s Lake View neighborhood.
The program will feature works by Natasha Bogojević, Seth Boustead, David Keller, Matt A. Mason, Astor Piazzolla, Gene Pritsker, and Amy Wurtz, with many of the composers also performing during the event.
Performers include David Keller on cello; Carlos Bendfeldt and Gene Pritsker on guitar; and Seth Boustead, Natasha Bogojević, Amy Wurtz, and Matt A. Mason on piano.
Known for its genre-crossing programming, Composers Concordance regularly presents collaborative concerts focused on new and experimental music.
