Broadway's ALL THE WAY Makes Clean Sweep in 2014 Awards Season

The producers of All the Way, by Robert Schenkkan, have announced that the show has won every major award for Best New Play this season - the Drama League Award, the Drama Desk Award, the Outer Critics Circle Award, the Drama Critics Circle Award and the Tony Award. For his critically acclaimed portrayal of President Lyndon B. Johnson, Bryan Cranston was awarded the Tony Award for Best Actor in addition to already winning the Drama Desk Award, the Outer Critics Circle Award, and having been recognized with a Theatre World Award.

All The Way will conclude its strictly limited engagement on Sunday, June 29th. It will have played 131 performances, making it the longest running new American play this season. It was previously announced that the show recoupled its investment of $3.9 million as of May 31st.

Robert Schenkkan's follow up to All the Way, The Great Society will make its world premiere at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival beginning July 23rd 2014 and will run through November 1st. The play will be directed by All the Way director and OSF Artistic Director, Bill Rauch.

It has also been announced that All the Way will have its first major post-New York production at the Seattle Repertory Theatre in partnership with Oregon Shakespeare Festival from November 14th, 2014 through January 4th, 2015.

The Broadway production of All the Way began previews on February 10th, 2014 and officially opened on March 6th, 2014 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 West 52nd Street).

All the Way takes audiences behind the doors of the Oval Office and inside the first year of Lyndon B. Johnson's presidency and his fight to pass a landmark civil rights bill. In addition to Cranston, All Tthe Way features Eric Lenox Abrams, Betsy Aidem, J. Bernard Calloway, Rob Campbell, Brandon J. Dirden, James Eckhouse, Peter Jay Fernandez, Christopher Gurr, William Jackson Harper, Michael McKean, John McMartin, Christopher Liam Moore, Robert Petkoff, Ethan Phillips, Richard Poe, Roslyn Ruff, Susannah Schulman, Bill Timoney and Steve Vinovich.

Originally presented at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and subsequently at the American Repertory Theater, All the Way is produced on Broadway by Jeffrey Richards, Louise Gund, Jerry Frankel, Stephanie P. McClelland, Double Gemini Productions, Rebecca Gold, Scott M. Delman, Barbara H. Freitag, Harvey Weinstein, Gene Korf, William Berlind, Caiola Productions, Gutterman Chernoff, Jam Theatricals, Gabrielle Palitz, Cheryl Wiesenfeld and Will Trice.

The production team also includes Christopher Acebo (scenic design), Deborah M. Dryden (costume design), Jane Cox (lighting design), Paul James Prendergast (composition and sound design), Shawn Sagady (projection design), Wendall K.
