This fall, the record-breaking, razzle-dazzle Broadway smash Chicago welcomes Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum R&B superstar Brian McKnight to the company for a six-week limited engagement in the role of slickster criminal lawyer Billy Flynn from Tuesday, October 8 through Sunday, November 18. Chicago plays on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.).

Prior to Broadway, McKnight will perform the role in a two-week engagement at Washington DC's Warner Theatre with the Chicago national touring company, Tuesday, September 25 through Sunday, October 7.

Brian McKnight is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, arranger, producer and multi-talented musician. He has released a total of ten R&B/pop albums in fifteen years, seven of which have gone platinum or multi-platinum.  McKnight's hit singles include "One Last Cry," "You Should Be Mine," "The Way Love Goes," "Love Is" with Vanessa Williams, and "Back at One," which reached number one on the Billboard 100 charts in 2000. His most recent album, Ten, was released on Warner Bros. Records in 2006.  He currently the co-host of "The Brian McKnight Morning Show" on KTWV The Wave, a Los Angeles-based smooth jazz radio station. A primetime television talk show is in development.

Now in its 10th smash year on Broadway, Chicago is the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Cast Recording. It is the eighth longest-running production in Broadway history, as well as Broadway's longest-running musical revival. This November, the London production will celebrate its 10th year on the West End.

Chicago plays on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.). The regular performance schedule through Sunday, September 9: Tuesdays & Sundays at 7PM; Wednesdays – Saturdays at 8PM; and Wednesdays & Saturdays at 2PM.  Performances beginning Monday, September 10: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 8PM; Tuesdays & Sundays at 7PM; and Saturdays & Sundays at 2PM.

The national tour of Chicago plays 16 performances at Washington DC's Warner Theatre (513 13th St. NW, between E and F Sts.) from Tuesday, September 25 through Sunday, October 7, 2007. Performances are Mondays – Fridays at 8PM; Saturdays at 2 & 8PM; and Sundays at 1 & 6:30PM. There is no performance on Tuesday, October 2.
