The ever-growing music seller and online community NewMusicalTheatre.com follows up its wildly popular launch concert and celebration with an even bigger event at Tribeca's Canal Room on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 8:30pm. Kerrigan-Lowdermilk's "You Made This Tour" will open the evening with a 7:30pm act.

The performer lineup for the concerts includes Colleen Ballinger (Miranda Sings), Alex Brightman (Wicked), Catherine Brookman (Hair), Allison Case (Hair), Kate Morgan Chadwick (Grease National Tour), Brian Justin Crum (next to normal), Jeanna de Waal (American Idiot), Meghann Fahy (next to normal), F. Michael Haynie (We the People...), Greg Hildreth (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Morgan Karr (Spring Awakening), Rachel Potter (The Addams Family), Anthony Rapp (Rent), Kate Shindle (Legally Blonde), Sarah Stiles (Avenue Q), Teal Wicks (Wicked) and Courtney Wolfson (The Addams Family).

Now boasting over 25 of the most exciting new voices writing for the theater today, NewMusicalTheatre.com fosters the idea that fans and actors can directly connect and impact the writers of tomorrow's next big hits. The NewMusicalTheatre.com concert will feature a new song by Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson writer Michael Friedman, as well as songs from some of the latest writers added to the NewMusicalTheatre.com community, including Gaby Alter, Sam Carner & Derek Gregor, Bobby Cronin, Drew Gasparini, Jonathan Reid Gealt, Paul Gordon, Michael Kooman & Christopher Dimond, Joshua Salzman & Ryan Cunningham, Jeff Thomson & Jordan Mann, and Will Van Dyke.

The NMT concert will also feature performances by Damon McToy and Sarah Rolleston, the winners of a popular contest run over the past two weeks which allowed undiscovered singers to upload a YouTube video of their performance of an NMT-published song to the site's Facebook page (facebook.com/newmusicaltheatre). Over 100 entries were received from students and performers across the country.

Coming off the success of last spring's explosive coming out party for the new site and growing community of writers, producers Katie Riegel and John Johnson reunite with director David Ruttura and music director Matt Hinkley to present this must-see event for anyone interested in the future of Broadway music.

The Canal Room is located at 285 West Broadway at Canal Street, New York, NY. Tickets for the entire evening are $25 and available now online at canalroom.com (http://canalroom.com/event_detail.php?id=458) or by calling 212.941.8100. $20 tickets for just the NewMusicalTheatre.com portion of the evening will be available at the door after 8pm. The event is 18+ and there is no drink minimum. Doors open for the evening at 7pm.

The 7:30pm opening act, "You Made This Tour," celebrates the launch of Kerrigan-Lowdermilk's debut album OUR FIRST MISTAKE, which charted at #1 on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts. The tour features a rotating roster of artists from musical theater and pop, and has previously made stops at Rockwood Music Hall, (Le) Poisson Rouge and the Laurie Beechman Theatre. www.kerrigan-lowdermilk.com
