Today, April 8, 2013, Broadway's Chicago welcomes Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal in the role of slick criminal lawyer Billy Flynn.

Adam Pascal made his Broadway debut originating the role of Roger in Jonathan Larson's Rent, a role which he also played in the Off-Broadway premiere and later in London, and for which he received a 1996 Tony Award nomination.

He also originated the role of Radames in Broadway's Aida by Elton John and Tim Rice. His other Broadway credits include the final Emcee in the Sam Mendes/Rob Marshall production of Cabaret and the final Huey in Memphis. Pascal's other careet highlights include co-producing the Off-Broadway hit Fully Committed, performing alongside Queen's Brian May and starring as Freddy Trumper in Chess alongside Josh Groban and Idina Menzel.

Adam has three solo recordings -- Model Prisoner, Civilian and Blinding Light -- all of which are available on iTunes.

In the role of Billy Flynn, Pascal takes over for Christopher Sieber, who concluded his return engagement on Sunday, April 7. Chicago also stars Amy Spanger as Roxie Hart, Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.

As previously announced, celebrated actress, comedienne and radio host Christine Pedi (Forbidden Broadway, Talk Radio, Little Me) will make her Chicago debut as Matron "Mama" Morton beginning today, April 8.

Pedi will appear for a ten-week limited engagement through Sunday, June 16 at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.)

Christine Pedi has a long association with the satirical revue Forbidden Broadway and a Drama Desk nomination for Forbidden Hollywood, having played both shows in New York, London and around the world.

On Broadway, she appeared in Talk Radio with Liev Schreiber and Little Me with Martin Short and Faith Prince. Her most recent stage credits include Off-Broadway's NEWSical the Musical and Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating & Marriage.

Her multi-award winning cabaret act Great Dames has played New York, London, South Africa and all over the United States. She can be heard daily on SiriusXM Radio's "On Broadway" Channel 72, playing music of the stage and screen, and interviewing theatre legends. Pedi is also the host of "The Callback" each Monday night at 11 p.m. at Broadway newest nightclub, 54 Below.
