A Flamenco Version Of THE LITTLE MATCH GIRL Comes to Teatro Paraguas Companía Chuscales and Mina Fajardo will present a Christmas flamenco extravaganza entitled The Little Match Girl, based on the short story by Hans Christian Anderson, at Teatro Paraguas for four performances December 20-23. Renowned guitarrist Chuscales and choreographer Mina Fajardo lead a company of musicians, actors and dancers in a fabulous flamenco interpretation of the cherished story. The company features Monze Diaz as a solo dancer, Amanda Cocker as dancer and narrator, singer Nicolasa Chavez, dancers Charles Brunn and Kelly Tucker, and Siena Price as the Little Match Girl.

Compania Chuscales y Mina Fajardo have performed many times at Teatro Paraguas, and elsewhere in New Mexico. Previous concerts include Una Nota de Lorca (2016), Romance de La Luna (2016), Choreography & Calligraphy (2017), and Dance with Spirit - History of Santa Fe, NM (2017).

The Little Match Girl is a family-friendly production, with four performances just before Christmas: Wedenesday, December 20 at 7:00pm, Thursday December 21 at 7:00 pm, and Saturday, December 23 with performances at 2:00pm and 7:00pm. Tickets are $25 general admission, and $20 for seniors and students.
