A BEAUTIFUL NOISE, THE NEIL DIAMOND MUSICAL to Host Original Broadway Cast Album Signing Next Week

The cast of A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical will host a signing event of the Original Broadway Cast Album immediately after the matinee on Wednesday, October 18 at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street).

Producer Bob Gaudio who is also a producer of the cast album said, “Signed cast albums are theater fans most prized possession and as we prepare to say ‘Happy Trails’ to Will Swenson, this will be the last chance people will have to get their CDs signed by this remarkable cast. I hope to see as many A Beautiful Noise fans there as possible to celebrate the cast and our cast album.”

As previously announced Swenson will depart the production on Sunday, October 29 and “American Idol” winner Nick Fradiani will assume the role of Neil Diamond – Then beginning Tuesday, October 31.

The cast album signing event is free and open to anyone with a physical CD of the cast album. Members of the production’s merchandise team will have extra copies of the album available for purchase at the theater. Signing is on a first come, first serve basis with signing event strictly limited to 60 minutes.

People attending the October 18 matinee, will have their cast albums signed first and then anyone else with the cast album will be able to enter to the theater to have their album signed. The line in front of the Broadhurst will start at 3:30 PM. Anyone arriving before then will be asked to leave and return at 3:30 PM. To make sure as many people as possible can get their albums signed, the signing event is limited to the Original Broadway Cast Recording.

However, if a person wants another item signed (Playbill, souvenir book, etc.), on-site donations of $25 can be made to The Parkinson’s Foundation via credit card. Limit one item per person.

The cast of A Beautiful Noise is led by Tony Award nominee Will Swenson as Neil Diamond – Then and features Tony Award and Drama Desk Award nominee Mark Jacoby as Neil Diamond – Now, Chita Rivera Award winner, Tony Award, and Drama Desk Award nominee Robyn Hurder as Marcia, and Shirine Babb as Doctor. They are joined by Jessie Fisher as Jaye Posner; Michael McCormick as Fred Weintraub, Tommy O’Rourke; Tom Alan Robbins as Bert Berns, Kieve Diamond; and Bri Sudia as Ellie Greenwich, Rose Diamond.

A Beautiful Noise includes a score of Diamond’s most beloved songs, a book which four-time Academy Award®-nominee Anthony McCarten (I Wanna Dance with Somebody, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Theory of Everything) distilled from hundreds of hours of conversations between himself and the legendary singer-songwriter, direction by Tony Award® winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, American Idiot), and choreography by Olivier Award® winner and four-time Tony Award nominee Steven Hoggett (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Once, Sweeney Todd).

The design team for A Beautiful Noise features Tony Award winner David Rockwell (scenic design), Tony Award nominee Emilio Sosa (costume design), four-time Tony Award winner Kevin Adams (lighting design), Tony Award winner Jessica Paz (sound design), and Luc Verschueren (hair and wig design). The production has music supervision and arrangements by Sonny Paladino, incidental music and dance music arrangements by Brian Usifer, vocal design by AnnMarie Milazzo, and orchestrations by Bob Gaudio, Sonny Paladino, and Brian Usifer.
