Les Ballets Trockadero De Monte Carlo Returns To Popejoy Hall In February

The internationally celebrated ballet troupe Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo will return to Popejoy Hall with a one-night-only performance that blends classical precision with sharp-witted comedy.

Founded in 1974, the company—known affectionately as “the Trocks”—has earned worldwide recognition for its affectionate sendups of classical ballet. Performing en pointe and en travesti, the all-male ensemble pairs rigorous classical technique with expertly timed parody, transforming familiar works into performances that are both technically accomplished and playfully subversive.

The repertoire draws on iconic ballets including Swan Lake and Paquita, reimagined with exaggerated flourishes, knowing humor, and a deep respect for the original choreography.
