The Popejoy Presents Roybal-Mack & Cordova, P.C. Broadway in New Mexico Series, in partnership with Broadway Across America, has contributed more than $47 million in economic activity over the past 24 months. During the current season alone, Broadway presentations at Popejoy Hall are expected to generate more than $26 million for the local economy.

Popejoy Hall draws audiences from across Albuquerque and communities throughout New Mexico. These patrons contribute to the local economy through dining, transportation, retail, and lodging, extending the economic benefits of Broadway performances well beyond the theater.

Recently, The Broadway League released the Economic Impact of Touring Broadway 2023–2024 report. According to the report, Touring Broadway generates substantial direct spending from producers, presenters, and venues, while also drawing audiences into nearby local businesses. This activity creates a ripple effect throughout the local economy, as dollars spent in connection with Broadway performances continue to circulate across industries and extend into surrounding communities.
