The Telling Project returns to Albuquerque on November 2nd, 2018. Partnering with Duke City Repertory Theatre (DCRT), The Telling Project: Albuquerque 2018 is a production in which military veterans and their families explore and express what military service has meant for them.
DCRT has stated they are "thrilled and honored" to be a part of The Telling Project: Albuquerque 2018, which has occurred since 2008. Over the past 10 years, the project has produced over 60 original performances in 23 states. The Telling Project allows military veterans and their family members to give the audience a glimpse into their lives and military service as they perform personal stories. It is the goal of The Telling Project to find a way to bridge the civilian and military gap by facilitating meaningful contact on a community level. Over the past 10 years, The Telling Project has performed at Lincoln Center (NY), The Guthrie Theater (MN), and The Library of Congress (DC). It has also been featured in the New York Times, on NPR, and on PBS.
