Actor Mackenzie Crook's sketches of his castmates in JERUSALEM feature in the programme for the West End transfer.

According to the London Evening Standard, Crook wanted to be an artist but was rejected three times from art school, so trained as an actor instead.

His sketches during rehearsal were spotted by his director Ian Rickson, who asked to use them in the programme.

Crook told the Standard: "If I had gone to art college, what direction would my life have gone in? I seem to be happier doing what I'm doing. I'm absolutely loving Jerusalem. It's absolutely epic."

But he admitted to intense pride at seeing his artwork published: "It feels really good to see them printed on nice glossy paper."
