A reminder that The Capital City Showcase returns this Saturday, November 5th, at 8:00pm at Bayou in Foggy Bottom, located at 2519 Pennsylvania Ave NW in Washington, D.C.

The Capital City Showcase is the variety show that features the DMV's best comedians, musicians, and performing artists. For over five years, the Showcase has included DC's best artists of all kinds, including stand-up comedians, improv troupes, bands, acoustic singer-songwriters, and hip-hop artists.

November's Showcase will feature:

COMEDY HEADLINER: Rob Maher

Rob Maher has been a staple of the DC and Baltimore scene for years. He has been a fixture at such venues as The DC Improv and Magooby's Joke House. He will make his national television debut on Comedy Central's Hart of the City with Kevin Hart on Sunday, November 6th.

MUSICAL HEADLINER: YellowTieGuy

Originally from Waldorf, MD, YellowTieGuy have been performing their brand of modern rock around the DMV since 2011. This nationally touring band has played area venues such as Ottobar in Baltimore, as well as 98 Rock's "Noise in the Basement". They will be promoting their second full album, titled Play on Words.

This fantastic Showcase will also feature comedy from Eva Brandon and Kyle Cromer and music from Louisa Hall.
