Now in its fourth year at Olney Theatre Center, Paul Morella's unique and memorable adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas will run from November 29 through December 29, 2013 on the Mulitz-Gudelsky Theatre Lab stage.

Rediscover the vibrancy and joy of this immortal classic as Dickens originally intended - in his own words - and experience his unforgettable characters and vivid imagery presented in a masterful solo performance.

"One of the first things I saw at Olney Theatre Center was Paul's magical, enchanting A Christmas Carol. It's an essential holiday experience," says Olney Theatre Center Artistic Director Jason Loewith. "Watching Paul work, you feel like you're in a cozy Victorian parlor with Dickens himself, sharing his story with you by the light of a crackling fire."

This heartwarming tale of holiday redemption and renewal has garnered critical acclaim, sold-out houses, and become a holiday tradition for many theatre goers.

"It's unlike any version of A Christmas Carol that audiences may have seen," says Paul Morella. "The text is taken almost entirely from Dickens' novella, and through an interactive combination of storytelling and theater, it is presented as he originally intended - like a tale told around a holiday fire."

A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas is made possible in part by contributions from production sponsors James Pape and Nancy Newman-Pape.
