UFC GYM Launches Grand Opening in North Edmonton, Oct. 15

UFC GYM® today announced the grand opening of Alberta's third gym on Saturday, October 15 in North Edmonton. Located at 12938 St. Albert Trail NW, the gym will be open from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

UFC GYM's first Canadian location opened in Sherwood Park last year. Additional UFC GYMs have opened in Mississauga, Ontario, Calgary, Alberta and Kelowna, British Columbia over the past calendar year.

"The reception to our first gym in Sherwood Park was amazing, so we're excited to expand and offer members of our community another location in North Edmonton," UFC GYM - North Edmonton / Sherwood Park said.

"This weekend's celebration will give our residents an opportunity to experience what makes our gyms unique."

The 14,000 square-foot gym is highlighted by a 24-foot Octagon®, strength training and cardio machines, battle ropes, agility ladders, bag room, large mat areas featuring Brazilian jiu-jitsu, wrestling, and other martial arts for youth and adults. The gym's explosive workout environment uses cutting-edge training techniques inspired by UFC athletes and provides members with everything needed for the entire family to sweat, move, live and Train Different®.

Throughout the day, UFC GYM will host a variety of activities. There will be free food, giveaways and raffle drawings for fans. Additionally, free coaching sessions and fitness demonstrations will take place all day.
