David Mirvish is delighted to present the Studio 180 production of David Hare's play, STUFF HAPPENS at the Royal Alexandra Theatre. Toronto's Studio 180 first staged STUFF HAPPENS last year, in the 240-seat Berkeley Street Theatre, where it quickly sold out all performances and was lauded by The Toronto Star as "the best show to play Toronto in 2008".

STUFF HAPPENS will play for a limited engagement at the Royal Alexandra Theatre from November 14, through December 23, 2009.

Beginning with the first days of the Bush administration and following its march into war, STUFF HAPPENS is a dramatic speculation, authenticated from multiple real-life sources, on the behind-closed-door proceedings that have shaped recent world events.

Acclaimed playwright David Hare blends documented public-record information and theatrical invention to create a riveting history play centring on recent world events.
STUFF HAPPENS created a sensation, was widely acclaimed by the critics, became the show to see and won many awards when it premiered at the National Theatre in London. The play received similar acclaim for its New York production.

Directed by Joel Greenberg (The Arab-Israeli Cookbook, The Laramie Project 03/04) STUFF HAPPENS features an ensemble cast of many of the country's finest actors.
