GORILLA THEATRE and UNITY OF TAMPA

In 2011 the Gorilla Theatre left its intimate black box theatre space in the Drew Park area of Tampa. Unity of Tampa has offered Gorilla a home for various events, including Dreaming of a White Christmas and Gorilla's Reading Series of new works.

"When I heard that the Gorilla Theatre needed a home, I thought of opening our doors to them," says Unity of Tampa minister Rev. Debbie Moss. "We are delighted and excited to have the Gorilla Theatre in residence at Unity of Tampa. It's a great way of opening up our church to the community."

Dreaming of a White Christmas is the Gorilla Theatre's opening production at Unity of Tampa, and will be presented in the Sanctuary.

Unity of Tampa is a longtime supporter of the performing arts. In addition to its use as a Sunday morning social area, the Creative Café in their Fellowship Hall will provide an intimate for the Reading Series in 2014.
