It seems there's never a dull moment in the Pinchgut office, and we are delighted to announce thatsubscriptions and single tickets for our 2017 Season are now on sale.You can view the full program information and listen to some of the music on our website.

Don't forget that in 2017 we will offer two earlier performance times. In addition to our usual Sunday5pm show we will also offer another performance on Saturday at 2pm.

Coronation of Poppea is a towering masterpiece of superbly crafted characterisation and heartbreaking beauty set to exquisite, sensuous music culminating in the famous duet 'Pur ti miro'. The opera traces the fallout from the scandalous liaison between courtesan Poppea Sabina and Nero; Emperor, madman, murderer. Director Mark Gaal and Conductor Erin Helyard collaborate on their third Pinchgut production together, and lead an exemplary cast headed by Helen Sherman and Korean-American Countertenor Kangmin Justin Kim.
