In light of recent natural disasters that have struck Missouri communities, STAGES ST. LOUIS and the cast of A CHORUS LINE will hold a car wash at the Kirkwood Civic Center on Tuesday, June 28th from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM to benefit the Red Cross Missouri Tornado and Flood Relief.

STAGES ST. LOUIS began its fundraising efforts at the commencement of A CHORUS LINE and to date, has raised over $10,000.00! The goal is to collect $20,000.00 by the close of A CHORUS LINE on July 3, 2011. The STAGES ST. LOUIS Box Office locations, both in Chesterfield and Kirkwood, as well as the Performing Arts Academy, have donation boxes available for direct contributions of any amount. In addition, the Box Office is accepting donations over the phone during regular ticket purchases for any show, and ushers and cast members are accepting donations at the end of each performance.

"STAGES ST. LOUIS has been very fortunate to receive continued support from the St. Louis community over its 25 years. With the overwhelming and heart-wrenching devastation from recent Missouri storms, we wanted to do something to give back. For the price of a cup of coffee, a world of difference can be made," stated Jack Lane, Executive Producer.

From the Red Cross Donation site, "Your contribution will support disaster relief efforts to help those affected by the floods and tornadoes throughout Missouri; providing shelter, food, emotional support, other supplies and assistance. On those rare occasions when donations exceed American Red Cross expenses for a specific disaster, contributions are used to prepare for and serve victims of other disasters."
