Set in a "Love Recovery" workshop, MATE introduces three women experiencing the raw and painfully humorous realities of single life. MATE walks through the cesspit of love, heartbreak, hope and all the grey bits in between, with Gray having based the events of this hybrid of live and filmed performance on real-life events. Sometimes crass, loud-mouthed and white knuckled, MATE tackles dating, dining and sixty-nine-ing - and all other matters of the heart too.
