Poster art for POP-UP TALES

This December holiday, at The Galloway Theatre, Tangible productions brings you POP-UP TALES, an interactive and improvised storytelling show for children. POP-UP TALES is a unique and fresh take on storytelling, where children get to decide the who, what and where of their own fun-filled adventure.

In POP-UP TALES, a professional team of actors will base their stories on suggestions from the audience. With narration, the use of props, music, sound effects and even drawing, they will take children on an imaginative journey where they get to decide what happens, helping the actors create a world full of magic and adventure. It could be pirates, dinosaurs, princes and princesses, space aliens or even superheroes - the options are endless. And because the story is improvised, no tale is ever the same, so they return again and again. The show is conceived and directed by Tandi Buchan, with music by Jaco Griessel.

Parents can join in the fun or enjoy coffee and cake at "Take 5", just outside The Galloway Theatre.

POP-UP TALES are suitable for all ages, with the hour-long show taking place twice a day at 11:30 and 14:00 from 11 - 16 December. Bookings can be made on the Galloway Theatre website, with tickets costing R80, or R70 for groups of five or more. Further information is available from the Galloway Theatre's Facebook page.
