In the English production I saw ‘Frozen’ it was an overwhelming spectacle with more heart, depth and darkness than the film. But in the Norwegian version I sadly felt the huge focus on the fact that the tale is grounded in several Nordic legacies got center stage, while the drama and more importantly the heart of the show got lost in the snow.

West Australian audiences will experience the magic of Disney's Frozen when the much-anticipated Perth season of the hit Broadway musical opens in August 2022. Following the incredible local success of The Lion King, Mary Poppins and Aladdin, this brand new musical by the same producers, will open at the Crown Theatre Perth in August 2022.

A Frozen Forest has appeared, with snow fall every hour from noon until 7pm alongside other magical touches across the area, including the Insta-famous Infinity Chamber having an icy makeover to appear Frozen, with an additional 3D neon installation at both the Long Acre and Floral Street entrances.

Disney’s Frozen JR. is playing at Memorial Theater from Friday, Sept 24 through Sunday, Sept 26. Evening show curtain is at 7:30pm and matinees at 2:00pm. The spectacular musical, designed for young performers, is based on the 2013 Disney film and the 2018 Broadway adaptation. Under the direction of Bruce Jacklin, Joe Jancura, and Megan Bell, the Frozen JR cast which includes 30 of the more seasoned artsIQ performers ages 13 to 18 will present Frozen JR evening shows Friday Sept 24 and Saturday Sept 25. The final performance will be a matinee on Sunday Sept 25. Tickets are just $15 and may be purchased online at https://mtvarts.com, at Park National Bank One South Main Street Mount Vernon, or one hour prior to curtain at the Memorial Box Office. There will be a $3 discount for children 10 and under.

On hand for the festivities were original stars Caissie Levy (Elsa) and Patti Murin (Anna) and new principal cast members Joe Carroll as Hans, Noah J. The show has released all-new production photos, featuring original stars Caissie Levy (Elsa) and Patti Murin (Anna) and new principal cast members Joe Carroll as Hans, Noah J. Ricketts as Kristoff, and, as Olaf, Ryann Redmond, the first woman to bring the beloved snowman to life.

New cast members come to Arendelle! Frozen has brought in Joe Carroll and Ryann Redmond as Hans and Olaf, respectively. Noah J. Ricketts has assumed the role of Kristoff. The three actors began performances Tuesday, February 19, 2019.

In the great Broadway tradition, the company held a Gypsy robe ceremony before the show to honor the ensemble member with the most Broadway credits. The winner for the Frozen company was Jeremy Davis.
