Frozen Photos - Broadway

In the English production I saw ‘Frozen’ it was an overwhelming spectacle with more heart, depth and darkness than the film. But in the Norwegian version I sadly felt the huge focus on the fact that the tale is grounded in several Nordic legacies got center stage, while the drama and more importantly the heart of the show got lost in the snow.

West Australian audiences will experience the magic of Disney's Frozen when the much-anticipated Perth season of the hit Broadway musical opens in August 2022. Following the incredible local success of The Lion King, Mary Poppins and Aladdin, this brand new musical by the same producers, will open at the Crown Theatre Perth in August 2022.

A Frozen Forest has appeared, with snow fall every hour from noon until 7pm alongside other magical touches across the area, including the Insta-famous Infinity Chamber having an icy makeover to appear Frozen, with an additional 3D neon installation at both the Long Acre and Floral Street entrances.

Disney’s Frozen JR. is playing at Memorial Theater from Friday, Sept 24 through Sunday, Sept 26. Evening show curtain is at 7:30pm and matinees at 2:00pm. The spectacular musical, designed for young performers, is based on the 2013 Disney film and the 2018 Broadway adaptation. Under the direction of Bruce Jacklin, Joe Jancura, and Megan Bell, the Frozen JR cast which includes 30 of the more seasoned artsIQ performers ages 13 to 18 will present Frozen JR evening shows Friday Sept 24 and Saturday Sept 25. The final performance will be a matinee on Sunday Sept 25. During Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPIHM), Disney on Broadway is putting the spotlight on the Asian American and Pacific Islander cast members of its hit musicals THE LION KING, ALADDIN, and FROZEN.

Disney's Frozen Jr. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart! Just yesterday, the company of Frozen celebrated its first anniversary with a party at The Stinger cocktail bar in The Intercontinental. On hand for the festivities were original stars Caissie Levy (Elsa) and Patti Murin (Anna) and new principal cast members Joe Carroll as Hans, Noah J. Ricketts as Kristoff, and, as Olaf, Ryann Redmond. Check out photos from the celebration below!

Frozen recently celebrated its first anniversary on Broadway! The show has released all-new production photos, featuring original stars Caissie Levy (Elsa) and Patti Murin (Anna) and new principal cast members Joe Carroll as Hans, Noah J. Ricketts as Kristoff, and, as Olaf, Ryann Redmond, the first woman to bring the beloved snowman to life.

New cast members come to Arendelle! Frozen has brought in Joe Carroll and Ryann Redmond as Hans and Olaf, respectively. Noah J. Ricketts has assumed the role of Kristoff. The three actors began performances Tuesday, February 19, 2019.

In celebration of Black History Month, the Broadway casts of The Lion King, Aladdin and Frozen partnered with photographer Darnell Bennett for a very special photo shoot, involving more than 50 cast members. Check out the photos and a behind the scenes video below!

Broadway Workshop, the country's top training program for young performers, celebrated their tenth anniversary summer by welcoming Broadway's biggest stars to lead programs in New York City. 

Disney took over Broadway in Bryant Park yesterday! Among performances were Aladdin (Telly Leung, Major Attaway, Arielle Jacobs); Frozen (Caissie Levy, Patti Murin, John Riddle, Jeremy Davis, Wendi Bergamini, Zach Hess, Nina Lafarga, Nicholas Ward); The Lion King (Tshidi Manye, Bradley Gibson, Adrienne Walker, Ben Jeffrey, Fred Berman).

The annual Broadway League Awards, honoring excellence and achievement for Touring Broadway, were announced today during the Broadway League's 2018 Spring Road Conference. First presented in 1992, the Broadway League Awards recognize the contributions of those who have displayed exemplary service to the Broadway industry and are considered innovators of their craft.

Manhattan Theatre Club presented its annual Spring Gala, an evening of cocktails and dinner followed by a special evening highlighting some of Broadway's most exciting shows, last night, May 14.

FJK Dance Works in Progress: UnTold explores and blends various dance forms: passionate tango and Latin dance with classical ballet, modern, contemporary and Broadway styles all with an Arabic twist! The company, lead by partners Fadi Khoury and Sevin Ceviker breathtakingly tell stories of human emotion through their bodies.

New York Theatre Workshop held it's 2018 Annual Gala last night, April 15. The gala celebrated John Tiffany, the Tony Award-winning Director of Once, which had its world premiere at NYTW, as well as Harry Potter and the Cursed Child; along with Barbara Cutler Emden, who is celebrating 25 years of arts advocacy and exceptional service on the NYTW Board of Trustees.

Just last night, the best of Broadway walked the red carpet in celebration of one of the most anticipated events of the theatrical season- MCC Theater's annual Miscast gala. Disney Theatrical's new Broadway musical Frozen celebrated its opening night at the historic St. James Theatre on Thursday night. In the great Broadway tradition, the company held a Gypsy robe ceremony before the show to honor the ensemble member with the most Broadway credits. The winner for the Frozen company was Jeremy Davis.

In just over a week, Frozen will join Disney Theatrical hits Aladdin and The Lion King on Broadway, beginning previews at the St. James Theatre on Thursday, February 22, 2018 and opening Thursday, March 22, 2018.
