In the Heights on Stage Videos - US Tour

Last night students at Revere High School brought musical theater back to the school after a 30 year intermission with a production of Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights.

In an emotional video, she shares how she reacted when she got the call confirming she would be in the movie. 

Many people are turning to YouTube covers and performances during this time of quarantine. One fan took to YouTube to post an impressive one-man cover of 96,000 from In the Heights, including full costumes, wigs, and all.

Stephanie Beatriz credits her 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' co-star Melissa Fumero for encouraging her to give it her all and try out for the upcoming movie musical 'In The Heights,' which she ended up scoring a role in. Stephanie also reveals that starring in the movie with Broadway actress Daphne Rubin-Vega is extremely special since she looked up to her as a Latina woman when she was growing up.

In the Heights might have wrapped up its Broadway run back in 2011, but creator Lin-Manuel Miranda is still treating fans to lost treasures from the show. Below, check out a demo track of 'I'm Out'- a cut song, in which Lincoln Rosario, Nina's brother, aspires to a songwriting career and quits the family taxi business.

In honor of 'Throwback Thursday, IN THE HEIGHTS creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda took to Twitter today to remember the show's closing night on Broadway. He posted: '#TBT Closing Heights on Broadway. I feel a fair amount of the feelings in this montage.' Check out the video below!

In the Heights is a musical with music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes. The story explores three days in the characters' lives in the New York City Dominican-American neighborhood of Washington Heights. The Broadway production was nominated for thirteen Tony Awards, winning four: Best Musical, Best Original Score, Best Choreography (Andy Blankenbuehler), and Best Orchestrations (Alex Lacamoire and Bill Sherman). It was also a finalist for the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
