Theatre In The Heights is pleased to present it's very first production ever! Fools is the whimsical tale of schoolmaster, Leon, who answers the call to teach in the Russian village, Kulyenchikov. When he arrives, he is surprised to see that the townspeople are all a bit off. There is a vendor peddling flowers as fish, a postman who forgets to deliver mail, and a Butcher who sweeps dirt back into his shop.  Leon eventually learns about a long-time curse that has plagued the village making everyone there a victim of stupidity. The Old Testament says the Israelites celebrated their newfound freedom from the Pharaoh with a communal meal of roast lamb and herbs.
