THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, the whodunit musical, will make its first-ever return to Broadway since winning the Tony "Triple Crown" (Best Musical, Best Book, and Best Score)! Who killed Edwin Drood? It's a question that has stumped audiences for years-now it's your turn to answer one of Broadway's most baffling mysteries. Take a trip back in time to a Victorian music hall where a rowdy ensemble of actors mounts a staging of Charles Dickens's unfinished novel. Everyone on stage is a suspect in the murder of young Edwin Drood-and it's up to you to choose the killer! Is it John Jasper, Edwin's protective but slightly maniacal uncle? Rosa Bud, his reluctant betrothed? The debauched Princess Puffer? Each performance ends differently, depending on what the audience decides!

As BroadwayWorld exclusively reported last month, Paper Mill Playhouse's recent production of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, based on the novel by Victor Hugo and the Disney animated film, may not be Broadway-bound, but it will get a cast recording. The American Premiere Studio Recording of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, the only stage collaboration from two masters of the American musical Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, will be released on Monday, November 20th. The evening is a joint benefit in support of The New York Pops PopsEd Programs and Ronald McDonald House® New York. The two organizations partner to provide music education programs that serve as creative outlets for the children and families in residence. The event is officially titled “Express Yourself” and will take place at Rockwood Music Hall (Stage 2), located at 196 Allen St, New York, NY. Based on the Broadway musical thriller written by Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse, Jekyll & Hyde Resurrection is a live concert featuring the music and songs from the 2006 album starring Rob Evan and Kate Shindle, and produced byFrank Wildhorn and Jeremy Roberts. The album inspired a full symphonic version of the musical that toured the US and South Korea directed by Producer/Director Vincent Marini. This musical retelling of the Robert Louis Stevenson classic takes a modern, dark and Rock influenced approach with the three stars and a full rock band delivering the highly charged and melodic score.
