The Winter Mix is a group show with a wide collection of new paintings and sculptures. This week we focus on two figure based artists: Carole Feuerman Carole Feuerman is a world renowned sculptor whose works have been showcased in numerous exhibitions including the Venice Biennale, the Australian Biennale, the State Hermitage in Russia, the Palazzo Strozzi Foundation in Italy, the Kunstmuseum Ahlen in Germany, and the Amarillo Museum in Texas. She has been honored with six museum retrospectives. In 2012 the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation began exhibiting her large scale works including the inner-tube sculpture, SURVIVAL OF SERENA, in SoHo. (more...)

For the delight of audiences aged five to 105, Chechoslovak-American Marionette Theater will perform its newest work, 'The Magic Garden, or, The Princess Who Grew Antlers,' an ensemble creation that is cheerfully concocted from Czech fairy tales in which antlers appear. Featuring four performers, marionettes of various sizes and assorted antique moose and deer antlers, the piece will be presented by Theater for the New City March 5 to 22. The ultimate holiday tradition for the youngest to the seniors in every family, seeing Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker creates holiday memories that last a lifetime. Moscow Ballet's company of almost 40 dancers is the only internationally touring ballet group to perform to critical acclaim in over 75 North American cities annually. The renowned, award-winning principal dancers and corps de ballet thrill audiences with their expertise, dramatic expression and stunning leaps, drops and turns.
