Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jimmy Smits is in talks to join the film adaptation of In the Heights, according to Collider. 

The long wait is over, and, yes, HAMILTON arrives in Madison this fall! The record breaking, trendsetting musical will land in town for three luxurious weeks.

The national tour of HAMILTON will return to DPAC in the 2020 / 2021 season, it was announced today by producer Jeffrey Seller and DPAC.

The cast and crew also made an appearance at CinemaCon, where Jennifer Hudson sang 'Memory.' Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced its annual Jazz, Cabaret and Chamber Music series for the 2019-2020 Season. It's another musically absorbing year of exceptional and adventurous music performed by some of the world's top solo artists and musical ensembles, whose work will canvas a range of styles and traditions. Subscriptions to the 2019 - 2020 Jazz, Cabaret and Chamber Music series will be on sale beginning Monday, March 25 at 10:00 a.m.

BroadwayCon celebrates its fifth year in 2020, returning to the New York Hilton Midtown on Friday, January 24 through Sunday, January 26. The cast for the Kennedy Center's production of The Who's Tommy has been announced! Casey Cott, star of the hit CW series Riverdale, will play the title role in the Broadway Center Stage production of The Who's Tommy. Tony Award® winner Christian Borle (Peter and the Starcatcher, Something Rotten!) and Mandy Gonzalez (Hamilton, In the Heights) will co-star as Captain Walker and Mrs. Walker, respectively.

Theatrical Outfit will enter a new era when Artistic Director Tom Key exits his longstanding position in June of 2020.  The Theatre's Board of Directors announced Key's plans to retire along with the announcement of the launch of a nationwide search to name his successor by the opening of the 2019-2020 season.

Opera in the Heights (OH), the opera company that provides a stage for emerging performers and affordable opera to the Greater Houston Area, will present its most daring season yet with its 2019-20 lineup.
