San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) presents the world premiere of "Manifest Destinitis," an Early California adaptation of Moliere's "The Imaginary Invalid" from Culture Clash founding member and REP Playwright in Residence Herbert Siguenza. The brand new comedy, directed by REP Co-Founder and Artistic Director Sam Woodhouse opens San Diego REP's 41st season. The show's run begins on Thursday, September 15, 2016 and plays through Sunday, October 9, 2016 with an opening night on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 7 p.m. in the Lyceum Space Theatre at San Diego REP in Horton Plaza. Teachers Are Invited to Experience the Inner Workings of the PCPA Conservatory

The Teachers' Weekend - September 10 & 11 - is designed to give educators an up close and personal look into the PCPA Conservatory. They will see the immersive mentor-apprentice method of conservatory training in a professional environment. Teachers will spend two days working with professional actors in workshops and observing classes and then attend PCPA's productions of In the Heights, Gidion's Knot, and Trying.  A certificate of completion will be provided for participants and upper division units are available for those interested.  (more...)

ISA BRIONES was born Isabella Camille Briones in London, England. Her parents, Jon Jon Briones and Megan Johnson Briones are both actors and singers, and her younger brother, Teo Briones is also an actor. She began modeling in New York at the age of 3, and started acting when her family moved to Los Angeles in 2006. She is best known for her role in the film Takers, playing Matt Dillon's daughter. Isa is entering her senior year of high school, and is excited to be making her professional theater debut in this production of Next to Normal.
