A young woman, Marjorie, is attacked in her home by a would-be rapist, Raul, and manages to turn the tables on him, tying him up in her fireplace. Her roommates come home to discover the attacker bound with cords, belts and other household items.

Terry and Patricia, the roommates, express different points of view about rape in society. Terry, a rape victim herself as a teenager, believes that Raul will not be convicted since a rape did not actually occur and there is no proof. Patricia believes in the judicial system and insists on calling the police.

The three friends are also turned on each other at various points in the play, due to Raulís knowledge of each of them through stalking them. For instance, close to the playís opening, Raul reveals to Terry that Marjorie had been dating Terryís boyfriend.

Calf Fit Fitness Device Strengthens Overlooked MusclesCalf Fit Fitness Device Strengthens Overlooked Muscles
by BWW News Desk - Oct 13, 2015

Calf Fit is a new, easy-to-use, portable exercise device that targets one of the body's most important but often overlooked muscles, the soleus muscle. Located underneath the calf muscle (and also referred to as part of the calf muscle), this muscle is known as the body's 'second heart' since it is responsible for pumping majority of blood from the lower Extremities back up to the heart. If this muscle is weak, it can inhibit the body's blood flow and effect the body's circulation and mobility, making it difficult to move without pain or discomfort. So having a strong, healthy soleus muscle is vital to having good venous circulation and strong mobility allowing people to do everyday activities such as walking, running, dancing, or even just standing up correctly with good posture. by Jill Schafer - Aug 31, 2015

With their sixth production in the three-year life of the company, Dark & Stormy once again delivers a short, intense, well-acted and directed play in an unconventional space. But Extremities has none of the dark humor that could be found in some of their past shows. It's all violence and drama and complex moral questions. This 1982 Broadway play turned 1986 movie starring Farrah Fawcett explores the weighty themes of sexual violence, power, and justice. There's no clear winner in this story, no obvious right and wrong, just a lot of grey area, where most of us live. Each of these four characters, beautifully portrayed by this excellent cast, is at times sympathetic and at times infuriating in their words and choices. More than 30 years after it was written, Extremities is as relevant and topical as ever. (more...)
