Following a special performance last Saturday at The Black Sheep Pubin Ashland, OR--a place singer/songwriter/musician PIPER HAYS holds dear as she told Southern Oregon University's The Siskiyou--she has shared the lyric video for her new single, 'Going Down Together,' taken from her debut album VAGABLONDE. The album was recorded at the historic Sam Phillips Recording Studio in Memphis, TN with Grammy Award-winning producer/engineer Matt Ross-Spang, noted for his work with Jason Isbelland Margo Price as well as for mixing 17 previously unreleased tracks fromElvis' 1976 sessions from The Jungle Room at Graceland.

The 29th annual Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival (Inside Out), championing innovative LGBTQ filmmakers from across the globe, revealed its full feature and short film lineup. The announcement was made today by Inside Out's Executive Director Andria Wilson and the festival's Director of Programming Andrew Murphy. Inside Out, which launched the first ever annual LGBTQ Film Finance Forum, has established itself as an international home and incubator for LGBTQ emerging and established filmmakers. This year's festival will take place May 23 to June 2, 2019.

Proceeds from the night generate essential resources to support the innovative new work on Steppenwolf's spaces and expansive education and community programs.

The audience loudly booed at the end of last Saturday night's preview performance of the new Broadway offering based on Paddy Chayefsky's Oscar-winning screenplay for the 1976 film classic "Network."  Seriously, the great majority of viewers at the Belasco Theatre angrily booed what they were seeing onstage, a good many of them yelling out profanity-laced objections.  Undoubtedly, playwright Lee Hall and director Ivo van Hove must have been delighted.

Steppenwolf Education's Professional Leadership Programs (PLP) offer opportunities through Internships, Apprenticeships and Fellowships for students, graduates, and early-career professionals. Steppenwolf Theatre Company announces a change in name from the Steppenwolf Multicultural Fellowship to the Steppenwolf Fellowship, in addition to a restructuring of the program to include a 30-hour externship. The Fellowship cohort is made up of early career people of color who hold an apprenticeship in their department of interest at Steppenwolf and are given additional paid professional development seminars and externship opportunities. The externship allows Fellows the opportunity to explore more deeply their individual professional goals, make connections to theatre practitioners outside of Steppenwolf's walls and provide more opportunities for mentorship across the industry.
